A numbing cream is applied before treatment to keep you comfortable. Gillian then passes the Secret PRO handpiece over the treatment area, delivering RF energy through the microneedles at a depth and intensity tailored to your skin and goals. Most sessions take around 20–60 minutes, depending on the area treated and whether the CO2 handpiece is used alongside the RF microneedling.
Downtime is minimal to moderate. Immediately afterwards, skin typically looks red and feels warm, similar to a mild sunburn. Mild swelling can occur, particularly on more sensitive areas. Most people find redness settles within 24–48 hours, though some light peeling can occur over the following few days as the skin renews itself.
Initial improvements in skin tone and texture are often visible within the first couple of weeks, with more noticeable firming and smoothing developing over 6–8 weeks as new collagen forms.
